Hotel Hagoromo

The room was amazing. I loved being in a Japanese style room, having tatami mat floors, sitting on a pillow with the arm rest, and everything else about it. The AC made it comfortable, since I'm used to cooler climates, and the private tub was exceptional.

Authentic Japanese accommodations.

Great location and beautiful property made this gem a must visit. Also my 5 kids wanted a traditional japanese experience and this hit all the marks. Our only issue was our air conditioner remote needed new batteries but that was easily corrected. This was a real experience!

Wonderful ryokan experience, with very helpful and attentive staff. The futon were some of the comfiest I've ever slept on, and the breakfast was a real feast. The Japanese garden and general atmosphere of the inn were very relaxing. Very close to views of Mt Fuji from the beach (if there aren't too many clouds).
